Arrington Announces Lindley Herring as District Director
Washington, DC,
July 27, 2018
Congressman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) today announced Lindley Herring will join his team as District Director.
Herring will lead Arrington’s constituent services and outreach efforts, working across each of the 29 counties to ensure the people of West Texas are well-represented. She will oversee both the Lubbock and Abilene district office’s operations to assist constituents and act as a liaison between Arrington and local community organizations and leaders.
Herring is a Plainview native and a graduate of Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business. Most recently, Lindley worked for a locally owned business in Lubbock. She and her husband Brian, a Friona native, are active members of their community and church and have two young daughters, Cameron and Tess.
“I’m thrilled to have a fellow Plainview Bulldog on my team,” said Arrington. “Lindley has deep roots and a love for West Texas. She has already demonstrated a commitment and passion to serve our community, which makes me confident she will do a great job for the people of District 19.”
Herring is replacing Russell Thomasson in the Lubbock District office. Russell will be joining a local bank as its Vice President.
“I have had the honor of working with Russell for many years and he is one of the most dedicated, trusted and loyal advisors. He is more than a colleague to me, he is a brother-in-Christ and the closest of friends. His strong faith, diligent work ethic, and principled leadership are reflective of his West Texas upbringing and played an invaluable role in our ability as a team to deliver for District 19,” said Arrington. “Russell will be sorely missed.”
