Today, Congressman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) released the following statement in response to the updated Coronavirus Taskforce guidelines for stopping the spread of COVID-19: “First and foremost – I urge all Americans to heed the advice of the Administration and health officials at every level of government. To most effectively battle this virus, citizens in every age group must remain vigilant and practice the key prevention measures of social distancing and exceptional hygiene, especially throughout the next 15 days,” said Arrington. “When dealing with a novel virus, we must all do our part. Even with no signs or symptoms, you can still carry and spread this virus, jeopardizing the health of our most vulnerable populations – the elderly and those with compromised immune systems.” “Stay vigilant, but remain connected. Even within the walls of our own homes, modern technology allows us to connect with loved ones across the street or across the globe.
