WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Representative Jodey Arrington (R-TX) released the following statement in response to a federal judge's order to block Title 42, a Trump-era rule that allowed the U.S. to quickly expel migrants who crossed the border.

"Judge Sullivan's decision to block Title 42 will only dump gasoline on an already raging fire that is the invasion at our southern border. Just last month, we saw a record-high of over 230,000 apprehensions. Title 42 is the last effective measure to secure the border under an Administration that fails to enforce the laws of the land, and without it, we are left with no tools to stop this unprecedented crisis."
