WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Jodey Arrington (TX-19) issued the following statement on Speaker McCarthy directing the US House of Representatives to launch an impeachment inquiry into President Biden.

“After months of extensive investigation, the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees have discovered sufficient evidence to assert President Biden may have committed an impeachable offense.

Impeaching a president is a serious matter that should be done the right way, for the right reasons, and with sufficient evidence.

I have long maintained that an impeachment inquiry is justified and necessary to provide the House with the additional investigative tools to uncover all the facts to make a final decision.”
