WASHINGTON, DC—Today, Rep. Jodey Arrington (TX-19) released the following statement after the United States Supreme Court allowed the Texas Legislature’s pro-life “heartbeat” legislation, Senate Bill 8, to take effect. “I applaud the Fifth Circuit Court’s decision to allow Texas’ pro-life “heartbeat” protections to take effect,” said Rep. Arrington. “This legislation is the most significant victory for the unborn in defense of their Constitutional right to life since Roe v.
