West Texas – Today, House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) kicked off the first of a multi-day rural county tour across West Texas, meeting with local officials, engaging with small business owners, and speaking with constituents about their concerns.

Brownfield – Terry County

“Great to be in Brownfield, USA, where faith and love of country run deep,” said Chairman Arrington“With Republican leadership in the White House and Congress, and the One Big Beautiful Bill now law, we’re cutting taxes, reining in spending, investing in Rural America, and ushering in the Golden Age of America – securing a stronger and more prosperous future for Terry County in the process.

“We appreciate Representative Arrington for making the trip to visit our community,” said Terry County Sheriff, Timothy Click. “His commitment to representing Texas and ensuring small towns like Brownfield stay visible and heard is truly appreciated.”

Levelland – Hockley County

“Just wrapped a great discussion in Lobo Nation with Levelland leaders and local officials,” said Chairman Arrington. “Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill rolling back burdensome energy regulations, empowering small businesses, and putting Rural America – not Washington bureaucrats – first, hopeful days are ahead in Hockley County.”

“We are extremely grateful that Congressman Arrington visited our community,” said South Plains College President, Robin Satterwhite. “Congressman Arrington consistently demonstrates his West Texas values and strength of character, and he works hard to represent our unique needs in Washington. He is a true friend to Levelland, Hockley County, and South Plains College!”
