West Texas – Today, House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) continued his multi-day rural county tour across West Texas, meeting with local officials, engaging with small business owners, and speaking with constituents about their concerns. Tahoka – Lynn County “Good morning from Bulldog nation,” said Chairman Arrington. “Started the day off right with friends in Lynn County discussing the One Big Beautiful Bill and the benefits they can expect to see from it - historic tax relief, unprecedented ag investment, strengthening of rural health care, and more!” “I appreciate Representative Arrington taking the time to visit and speak with us,” said Tahoka Chief of Police Jeff Parker. “It means a great deal to have someone in his position advocate for our smaller community. Too often, communities like ours are overlooked, but Rep. Arrington has consistently shown that we are in his thoughts and more importantly, in his actions.” Haskell – Haskell County “Enjoyed a thoughtful conversation with folks in Haskell, where faith, family, and freedom guide every decision,” said Chairman Arrington. “The One Big Beautiful Bill defends those values by cutting waste, restoring the dignity of work, and making the largest investment in border security and national defense.” “We are grateful to welcome Congressman Arrington to Haskell and for his willingness to sit down with our community leaders,” said Haskell Mayor Christina Isbell. “His visit gives us a chance to share the great things happening in our town, talk about the challenges we face, and explore ways we can work together for a stronger future.” Albany – Shackleford County “Finished up the day with my friends from Shackleford County, USA,” said Chairman Arrington. “The Big Beautiful Bill is a BIG win for working families in Albany and others in rural America who provide energy independence and food security for our nation. Proud to have authored the most consequential legislation in my lifetime, which included historic tax cuts, record deregulation, welfare reform, and the largest investment in national security in US history.” “We are so glad to have congressman Arrington in Albany,” said Lynne & Clifford Teinert, owners of Collins Creek Ranch. “We are so proud of his hard work in Washington D.C and all he has accomplished. Albany and surrounding areas are blessed to have him working for us. Thank you, Congressman! And thank you for the Big Beautiful Bill!” Background:
