Washington, D.C. – Today, the House of Representatives passed three appropriations bills, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Act, and Department of Defense Appropriations Act. Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) issued the following statement after House passage: “Protecting its citizens, defending our freedom, and providing for the common defense is the first and most important job of the federal government.
