Arrington Applauds Trump SOTU Vision and Administration Accomplishments

Today, Congressman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) released the statement below following President Trump’s State of the Union address:   “Tonight’s address outlined President Trump’s vision for a nation that works for all Americans, one that is illuminated by the light of freedom shining as bright as it’s ever shown. The Great American Comeback we are witnessing is empowering communities, unleashing unprecedented economic growth and unlocking the greatest potential of the American people,”  said Arrington. “During his first three years in office, President Trump has kept his promise to hardworking American families, and we are seeing those results everyday with record low unemployment, historic trade agreements and tax cuts for our middle class – all of which have been done in spite of Democrats’ partisan opposition and in stark contrast with their radical socialist agenda.”   “Our country is now safer, stronger, and more prosperous than it has been in recent history as a result of our booming economy fueled by free market, pro-energy policies as well as our Commander-in-Chief’s commitment to securing our border and strengthening our nation’s military.” “Contrasting the left’s big government policies with citizen-centered, common sense solutions, President Trump spoke to the challenges Congress must work to address: lowering drug prices, reforming immigration, and empowering working families. I am optimistic about what this administration can continue to accomplish in 2020 and look forward to working with President Trump to tackle the issues most important to the people of West Texas.
