West Texas – Today, House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) continued his multi-day rural county tour across West Texas, meeting with local officials, engaging with small business owners, and speaking with constituents about their concerns.

Snyder – Scurry County

“Enjoyed my time spent in Scurry County meeting with local leaders, business owners, and community members in Snyder - a town that puts the FUEL in the Food, Fuel, and Fiber Capital of the World,” said Chairman Arrington. “Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill, folks here in Tiger Country will benefit from deregulation, lower taxes, and the unleashing of American energy dominance!”

“It is always an honor to welcome Congressman Jodey Arrington back to Scurry County,” said Scurry County Judge Dan Hicks. “His continued commitment to rural healthcare, agriculture, and the prosperity of West Texas reflects the values we hold dear. We appreciate his willingness to listen, engage, and advocate for the needs of our community. His visit is a reminder that even in small towns like ours, the voices of hardworking families, farmers, and local leaders matter. We look forward to working together to build a stronger, more resilient future for Scurry County and all of West Texas.”
